Quote to reflect on: “There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.”

What I'm reading, listening, watching or eating:

Your Money or Your Life author Vicki Robin talks at Microsoft in 2016. A fascinating talk that encourages listeners to identify their top values and dreams in life and simply optional purchases to only those that increase the quality of your life. I read her book quite some time ago and I loved it. The activities she outlines are an eye opener and very helpful for organizing your finances. My main take away was when she discussed how each unnecessary purchase just delays your opportunity to be financially free. $4 latte, new car, new clothes each season…..delay, delay, delay, versus invest, invest, invest. Random:

For 10 years Co-Movement has assisted clients in the field of nutrition with a wide variety of goals....weight loss, improved energy, increased muscle mass, better digestion, autoimmune, diabetes, higher testosterone etc... Our nutrition expert Andy Cieply recently designed a program accessible to the masses called A.E.R.O. nutrition. Assessment, Education, Recommendation, Operationalize.

4 steps, with one result.... a healthier and stronger version of yourself. This personalized program can be utilized for in-person and remote clients with commitment lengths ranging from 1-12 months.

There are hundreds of "diets" and even more proclaimed "pros" out there making it hard for consumers to differentiate between professionals, and profit driven sales schemes.

The process can be enjoyable, simple and extremely effective but choosing the correct program will make all the difference in the world.

"Co-Movement has influenced me in a big way to change my relationship with what I put in my body. I came to the program with some bad eating and drinking habits, and while I’m still no saint, I’ve improved the inputs over time and seen some great results. Andy’s protocol is a game changer for weight loss and insulin resistance. I’ve dropped 25 of the 50lbs I need to lose (mostly in the last 12 months), I’m no longer pre-diabetic, I’ve improved my insulin resistance, and I’m excited to see the rest of the weight gone in 2020. Thank you Andy for helping me with this!" -Matt

Have an amazing weekend everyone!

Josh

P.S.+ Co-Movement trainer Jacob Wratten released his first book I. Wave. and its available on amazon! Preview: "The thoughts and feelings contained within these pages offer the reader a vision of Man-kind at odds with its own creations. There are thoughts on life and the progression through it, however clumsy and indelicate it may be. There are stories of love, both the sad longing for connection and the joy of true, patient, and silly romance. There are light-hearted observations about the reality of completing life’s necessary chores and also the blueprints to a disciplined mind devoted to empathy, rather than brute force, as a means of achieving goals. All are meant to be interpreted metaphorically, literally, seriously, and not-seriously. The point is that there is no point; until we each individually decide there is." -A.M.B

Affiliate Note: Some of these companies happen to offer commissions for online referrals. Other ones don’t. This doesn’t affect my choice, but where available, I made point of using the right type of link so that this blog will get a credit if you end up purchasing a product. It’s a nice and fully optional way to help out this blog if you choose to do so while securing some new and useful products!
