Quote I'm Pondering:

“If you can look your friends in the eyes and know that you didn’t let them down because you told them the truth. And that truth is that you did everything that you could, there wasn’t one more thing that you could have done. Can you live in that moment? As best you can, with clear eyes and love in your heart, with joy in your heart. If you can do that, then you are perfect.”

-Friday Night Lights- Peter Berg

What I'm reading, listening, watching or eating:

An amazing film about a man and an octopus that highlights our connection as humans with animals. This story has captivating imagery, and a storyline that will keep your attention the entire film.

Biggest take away. How we treat animals and nature is a direct manifestation of our inner feelings towards ourselves.

I highly recommend it.

I recently re-watched this documentary and wanted to share with all of you. No doubt we are living in chaotic times filled with hate, confusion and fear. Its my firm belief that movement and health (both physical and mental) leads to love and positivity. Our world is very unhealthy, both physically and mentally. The data is staggering with depression, anxiety, obesity, prescription drugs, and the quality of the foods we eat daily. Becoming in-tune with our bodies..... how it moves, how it feels, how it builds strength, how to energize it, and how it heals, is our primal origin. Without that natural instinct, human beings would not exist. When we ignore respecting our bodies and minds, we numb ourselves to empathy, love, respect, and positivity. Imagine a world where each time you wanted to express your opinion on social media, had a negative thought or frustrating situation, instead you diverted that energy to movement, healthy eating, and positive conversation.

The world would be reshaped.

Daily movement, sleep and healthy eating is work, but so is living in fear, being anxious, harboring hate and negativity. Its all work. Where you choose to put your available energy is up to you.

I choose movement, health and love.

Have an amazing weekend everyone!
